Windsweep Farm
Nestled in the gently rolling plains of northwestern Illinois, amidst the green, lush acres of waving grains is Windsweep Farm. Owned and operated by the Sheaffer family for 70 years, the fourth generation now carries on the tradition of animal husbandry.

Animals at Windsweep are raised naturally and humanely with no hormones or antibiotics. Antibiotics are only used when needed for recovery from injury or illness. Feed for the animals is homegrown and harvested except for extra vitamins, minerals, and protein that the livestock need to maintain a balanced diet. All diets are 100% vegetarian. All livestock are pasture-raised and non-confined.

Windsweep is very diversified and substantially self-sustaining. Hay, soybeans, corn, and pasture are grown on the farm. Cattle, hogs, sheep, goats, chickens, cats and dogs all call Windsweep home.
